Our Mission
At Lumpy Studios, we draw from the small moments that shaped us — like wandering through Asian markets as kids, taking in the colors, the textures, and the quiet familiarity of it all down to the smell of the in-store fish market. That sense of nostalgia is the thread that runs through our work.
Our studio strives to reinterpret the cultural touch points we hold dearly. We spend time and thought on design, material, form, and a bit of silliness, bringing a modern perspective to objects that feel rooted in memory.
We’re drawn to the charm of imperfection — the uneven, the unexpected, the not-quite-symmetrical. Our “ugly” fruit line and other pieces lean into that idea, embracing things that are a little lumpy.
Lumpy Studios is our way of honoring where we come from while creating something new. It’s thoughtful, playful, and grounded in the experiences that shaped us. We hope our work invites a moment of recognition, maybe even a smile, and adds a little warmth to the everyday.
Come get these lumps baby!
