Design Process:
A silicone mold was created using the actual fruit to capture the most organic shape and texture. We then rotocasted resin into the mold to form the hollow lamp body. A 3D printed base was designed to fit snug into the bottom, with just enough space for the light source. The stem was hand-molded in clay, then resin cast in its own silicone mold. All parts were assembled using a strong binding adhesive, then packaged and heat sealed for freshness.
